Grok Bot Gains Native X Monitoring for Real-Time Tracking and Insights
Grok Bot can now directly search, read and monitor X without requiring a separate connector, giving marketers and teams a faster way to track feedback, trends, breaking stories and industry...
xAI has expanded Grok Bot’s capabilities on X, allowing the AI agent to search, read and monitor posts directly without requiring users to configure an X connector. The update was announced on October 7 and is designed to make ongoing monitoring easier.
Users can use Grok Bot to track product feedback, breaking stories, mentions and industry conversations, while scheduled Routines can turn monitoring into recurring workflows. This makes the feature particularly useful for marketers and businesses that need to keep track of brand discussions and customer sentiment on X.
For example, a marketing team could ask a Bot to monitor conversations around a product, identify recurring customer complaints and prepare a weekly summary. Teams could then use those insights for campaign planning, content creation or product decisions.
The update also fits into xAI’s broader push toward always-on AI agents. Grok Bots can run on cloud computers even when a user’s laptop is closed, allowing monitoring and other workflows to continue in the background.
For businesses, the bigger opportunity is turning social listening from a manual research task into an automated, recurring workflow.
