OpenAI has officially rolled out GPT-6 and Intelligent UI in ChatGPT, marking a shift from AI that simply generates text toward experiences that can adapt their interface to the task. The rollout began globally on October 7 for Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise users, with Free and Go users following on October 8.
With Intelligent UI, GPT-6 can combine text, visuals and interactive elements based on what a user is trying to accomplish. Responses can include charts, diagrams, tappable buttons, forms, maps and interactive tools such as calculators, games and bill splitters. ChatGPT can also adjust an interface based on user inputs rather than requiring a separate prompt.
For marketers, creators and businesses, this could make AI-powered workflows far more practical. Instead of explaining a dashboard, campaign plan or process entirely through text, ChatGPT can potentially create an interactive experience around it.
GPT-6 also begins answering while continuing to think or use tools, helping users see results sooner. The bigger shift is that software can increasingly adapt to the user, rather than forcing users to adapt to fixed interfaces.
